Telma Salema was born in Porto, Portugal on April 30, 1992.

From an early age with a tendency for plastic expression the young artist participated as a child in various competitions in which she excelled with distinction.

The decisive decision to enter the art world took place at the time she decided to do the secondary education in the Escola Secundária Artística Soares dos Reis, Porto, which she was distinguished by the participation in the Comenius Project.

Since then has dedicated herself body and soul to the arts.

In 2010 attended the degree course at the Faculdade de Belas Artes, University of Porto, in the Artes Plásticas Course, where she remained two years, the second one at the Sculpture specialization.

In 2012, attracted by the creative atmosphere in the town of Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, she change to ESAD- Escola Superior de Artes e Design, where eventually she finish her graduation.

Two years after the arrival in Caldas da Rainha is time to start a new experience, she entered the Erasmus program and travel to Italy to attend the Painting Course in Accademia di Belle arti di Venezia.

During the year of 2016 she collaborate at Mu Work Space Lisbon.

In relation to exhibitions and projects, the artist has participated in several editions of Caldas Late Night since 2013. Among the most recent exhibitions we can highlight the participation in ART MAP Aveiro in 2015, Mertolarte and Artis XIV respectively in Mertola and Seia in the course of this year 2016. 

The solo exhibition at MU OPEN GALLERY Lisbon in 2016.

And finally, still this year, the participation in the festivals Loures Arte Pública and Paratissima Lisbon.
